The International Test Pilot School has been awarded training contracts by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) and Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) to train the flight test teams for the Turkish Indigenous helicopter and Korean light Commercial helicopter (LCH)/Light Armed helicopter (LAH) respectively. ITPS provided the best value proposition and EASA compliant test pilot and flight test engineer programs in the face of intense international competition.

ITPS’s customer focused approach, flexibility and innovative solutions to training ensured that its London, Ontario base will be the venue for the training of new helicopter flight test crews for the next two years. The TAI contract represents repeat business from Turkey which recently contracted ITPS to train the entire flight test team for the Hurkus turboprop military trainer. The KAI contract represents new business in Korea although ITPS has a long standing relationship with the Republic of Korea Air Force which has been training test pilots and flight test engineers annually at ITPS in Canada since 2011. The TAI team has commenced training with the KAI and Republic of Korea Army contingent expected in mid-June.
